Now Available: Two-Wheel Applications Catalogue 2010/2011 from NGK Spark Plug Europe

7.750 applications for motorbikes, scooters and quads can be found in the 2010/2011 two-wheel catalogue. In total, NGK has added 105 new models which can even be identified separately on four additional pages.
Many of the spark plugs within the catalogue were developed as Original Equipment for specific manufacturers because NGK is the leading supplier of spark plugs to all the major motorbike producers worldwide, such as Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Suzuki and Triumph. The same applies to Lambda sensors. That is because a growing number of new motorbikes are equipped with a controlled catalytic converter and therefore require oxygen sensors.

The catalogue also helps those who may find spark plugs from other manufacturers in their vehicles. By means of conversion charts it enables them to change immediately to a better alternative from NGK. Additionally, the catalogue lists an NGK Iridium IX high-performance spark plug as an alternative for standard types. This precious metal spark plug improves throttle response and acceleration due to its slim centre electrode with an Iridium tip. It also guarantees efficient combustion and prevents the spark plug from carbon fouling and – with that – the ignition failure which can occur if the motorbike is mainly used for short distances and stop-and-go traffic.

The new catalogue is available to NGK distributors with immediate effect. In addition, it is available for download from www.ngk.de/pro and www.ngk.de as a PDF-file.
