Dielectric Resonator
Ceramic dielectrics with high permittivity are known to be excellent resonators for microwave oscillators and filters. Materials with high dielectric constant, good temperature stability, and high Q, enable design of stable microwave oscillators and filters. Some of the circuit applications can be for microwave oscillators, impedance converters, discriminators, filters, and matching circuits.
Features: | |
|---|---|
High dielectric constant (εr= 10 ~ 93) enabling a more compact resonator design | |
High Q value of the dielectric material is closer to cavity resonator (lower tan δ) | |
Low, controllable temperature coefficient (Τf) | |
Special shapes and sizes can be manufactured | |
Suggested Applications: Base station for cellular communications systems, microwave circuits, high frequency capacitors | |
